Hamble Point Marina Road

This access road runs south from the village to Hamble Point Marina at the tip of the peninsula. It passes through Hamble Common and the marina complex before terminating at the Hamble Point car park. The road provides the only vehicular access to the marina and the southern end of the peninsula. During the sailing season, the road carries a steady flow of boat owners, marina staff, and visitors heading to the water. The car park at the end is a popular spot for walkers and those who come simply to watch the shipping in Southampton Water. The road is single carriageway and can be busy at peak times, but for most of the year it is a quiet route through pleasant surroundings with views opening up across the common and the water as you head south.
