Hamble River Sailing Club is one of several sailing clubs based on the River Hamble, organising racing and cruising events for its members. The club operates from premises near The Quay and runs a regular programme of dinghy and keelboat racing throughout the sailing season. The club has an active membership drawn from Hamble and the surrounding area and provides training for beginners as well as competitive racing for experienced sailors. The club's location gives direct access to the river and, via the river mouth, to the Solent racing grounds. Social events and club suppers complement the on-water programme.
